I have been working with the Marianists for a period of twelve years. This has
been a blissful experience for me, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. There
are several reasons why I am so ready to sing this to anyone viewing this web
site.

First, the Marianists touched my life with visible examples of simplicity,
patience and authentic love. My daily interaction with them has deepened and
strengthened my faith, knowing that even with all our imperfections, love
covers it all. It is through the Marianists that I can practice my true passion
which is  nursing; I am able to answer my call  with dignity and pride.

Secondly, I don’t feel like an employee, but like a family member. The
Marianists show great empathy.  With their different backgrounds and
experiences they show the whole package of wisdom. There’s no other place
like being in an environment filled with educators who happily share their
gifts, talents and skills
.
Lastly, they fulfill  their
mission statement in very  simple ways even in to their
last days. Personally, I am a living witness of  their service to each other  and
to everyone. I cannot speak more than what my heart can say, but they are the
"wind beneath my wings."

With values I learned from the Marianists, I am inspired to share this humbling
experience with others. I launched my foundation,
LUBB & LUGG (Live Under
Bountiful Blessings and Love Under God’s Grace), to support the Marianists
community and mission in Davao City at Balay Pasilungan. Balay Pasilungan is a
care center for street children. In this way I can share with the Marianists what
I learned from them in my own simple way. Together with my long time friend
Dr. Vicente Florida the Third, an internist from Titusville, my passion of sharing
this love will hopefully flourish in
HIS time.
